History
Christmas in Centennial began in 2003, to involve our entire community in a special holiday event. Since then it has evolved and grown; raffle ticket sales enable us to make donations back to our community.
Description
It’s an all day family event. We offer visits with Santa, a Santa’s workshop for children to make gifts, and caroling, in addition to vendor booths. Christmas tree cutting permits will also be sold. Due to its success last year, we are working with the US Postal Service to create a special pictorial cancellation. KCGY/Y95 Country will also be broadcasting live.
Vendor Opportunities
All vendors are located in the Centennial Elementary School. Space is limited, but this will place you in the same location as the information table. You can reserve just an 8 foot long space or have us provide an 8 foot table for a nominal additional fee.
What's here for you
Lodging - If you would like to spend the night in Centennial either before or after the event, you can reserve a room at the Mountain View Historic Hotel (307-742-5476), The Friendly Store & Motel (307-745-6033) or The Old Corral, (307-745-5918). Mention you are here for Christmas In Centennial. Accommodations are also available at Mountain Meadows Cabins, (742-6042) approximately 6 miles west of town.
Parking and setup– The school will be open at 8 am. Parking is limited near the building. We would ask that once you have unloaded and set up your area, move your car away from the entrance; we will have volunteers available to direct you to parking.
Food – The Mountain View Historic Hotel has a café serving espresso, breakfast and lunch. The Century Bar & Grill also serves breakfast and lunch. The Beartree Tavern & Café serves lunch and dinner, as does The Old Corral.
