Here's what we did in 2013; 2014 will be even better!
Santa Arrives - North Pole scheduling has confirmed that Santa will arrive in Centennial at 8:30 AM.
Arts and Crafts Vendors and a Bake Sale - Pick up a special holiday gift or confection from one of our local vendors or service organizations at the Centennial School from 9 AM to 2 PM. Centennial Social Club will have coffee and snacks.
Christmas Tree Permits - A US Forest Service representative will be at the Centennial School from 9 AM to 2 PM offering permits to cut your own special tree on the Medicine Bow National Forest.
J/N Mercantile -Refreshments. Visiting artists: Dave Rowswell from Rawhide Studios (Cheyenne) and Georgia from Artful Hands Gallery (fiber artist). Sandy K Designs-jewelry (fire in the sky designs, silver, gold and copper). Book signing with Mark Smith, author.
Model Railroad Exhibit - The Nici Self Historical Museum will open from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a special expanded holiday model railroad display.
Beartree Tavern and Café- Live music (Chicken Rodeo 2 to 5 PM). Hot dog cart. Ten percent of hot dog sale proceeds will be donated to the Centennial Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Also, Santa's Salvage will be located in the Valley End Flea Market.
Santa's Workshop - Children can make their own gifts at the Centennial Library, 9 AM to 1 PM. Mrs. Claus will be on hand to help Santa and his helpers.
Book Sale - Pick up a gently used new favorite to benefit the Centennial Library, 9 AM to noon, Centennial Library.
Friendly Store - Eat, shop and participate in Holiday Hurrah.
Snowy Range Ski Area - Free hot chocolate and a drawing for a coffee basket.
Visits with Santa - Spend some time with the jolly ol' elf, 10 to 11 AM, Centennial Library.
Christmas Carols - The Eppson Center Melodees will be performing around town from 10 AM to noon.
Special US Postal Service Cancellation - Have your holiday mail cancelled with a special one day "Elf Station" cancellation at the Centennial Post Office, 10 AM to 11:30 AM.
Christmas Hay Rack Shuttle will be running throughout the day and throughout downtown and uptown Centennial.
Phoenix Gallery - Exquisite hand-built contemporary piece by Centennial artist Michael Banzhof and "affordable art gifts". Visiting artist 10 AM to 4 PM. Snacks 11AM to Noon.
The Country Junction - Open from 9 AM to 5 PM. Meet Steven W. Horn, author of Another Man's Life and the newly released The Pumpkin Eater, a Colorado photographer Sam Duncan mystery, Noon to 2 PM. One dollar ice cream cones and Egg Nog milk shakes.
Trading Post -Open from 8 AM until late.
